i read that you have to modify the valve to make the ults work with a retro valve, is this true? also im building a spydermag would i need the ult with the esp frame? how would i know if an ult has been installed already?

I don't think you need the ULT with an electro frame, it might even slow down the cycle rate
Ok, as far as the valves go you have to look and see. Where the on/off goes (the brass cylinder), there is an o-ring that the pin seals against.
If there is an o-ring around a smaller o-ring in the valve, then the ULT will just drop in.
If there is only one o-ring you need to have the valve drilled out to fit two o-rings.
IIRC Luke can do it.
The ULT on/off is very different than the stock one, you will know the difference just by looking at it.
The easiest thing to look for is the stock on/off has kind of an hourglass shape to it, the ULT is just a straight cylinder. -
The noid in a spyder frame is not strong enough to push against a standard on/off a ULT is required.
And yes LUKE can drill your R/T to accept the UL Trigger but it does not come with a warrenty.Comment
