Classic valve regultated?

I just recently obtained another mag after being away from them for a few years. Someone refresh my memory: can I put a regulator on this mag or is it a waste of time? Again it has a classic valve.

The back half of your valve is the regulator. You may starve your marker if you add another regulator.

Yes, if you are running HPA, another regulator is not recommended.

With CO2 however, sometimes a good regulator (like a Palmer's Stabilizer) can help keep the liquid out.
