Old Air bottles - keep or throw away?

I just want to know your opinions with regards to old air bottles that are well past their hydraulic testing dates.

I have three bottles; 2 flat bottomed 1.1 L Kevlar wrapped 'Air America' bottles that were born in 1996 / 1997 and one 1.9 round bottomed one. Could these be re-tested and put back into use or sold or should they just be destroyed and thrown out?

here is one of the flat bottomed ones

    Many thanks

cut the top off and weld a handle on and it can be a nice mug

That sounds all Greek to me. Also we do not have Walmarts here in UK but cheers for the advice. I think maybe for safety reasons it may be just better to destroy them and throw them away.

Although the cup idea is not too bad - may just opt for flower pots!

No scratching or unraveling - just a bit grimy and in need of a clean!

I think the glass and fiber wrap tanks are good for 15 years with appropriate hydro every 5 years.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
