    Tac-One RT Question

Hey guys, first time poster on Automags.org and now a first time Mag owner. Just got a brand new Tac-One a few weeks ago.

I'm running a Crossfire 68/4500 850psi output tank with the stock ASA/air line installed by AGD. I don't have the ULT kit yet, but that might be a possible upgrade later on. I don't know much about Mags yet and have a question about the RT. Is it possible to get something like this without the ULT kit? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnmPf6yyvnc

If it is, any suggestions on tuning it to get that kind of ROF? I also read that it takes some time to break the marker in, does this go for the RT as well? Right now I can only fire as fast as I can pull the trigger, but it's a blast to shoot.

    Thanks

the RT will break in also, meaning it will get easier to use as the valve breaks in
    although valves are different
some valves get crazy RT at 800 psi input, some get very little at 1000 psi input

One thing that will help is shortening the on/off pin
unless you have a set of calipers I dont recomend doing this (in that case just order a .712 emag on/off pin from AGD)
stock RT pin should be .750
very carefully grind it shorter, cleaning it up and testing it with the valve until the desired RT is acheived
some people have cut them as short as .685, although the shortest Ive gone is .710
you want to use a teflon(white) on/off top oring (not the black quad) and you want to make sure your valve is nice and lubed
the smoother your valve is the faster it will fire
