you got all the parts in there? the lil white backing washer, and the orings are good? those lil orings go bad after a while, also check your other orings, even your on/off orings.

Are you sure it's leaking down the barrel? And did you push the bolt all the way down?

yeah its leaking from inside by the bolt. if i push on the end of the bolt i can get it to stop. if i like hold the trigger to the point right befor it fires i can get the leaking to stop too; could it be the sear rod needs to be adjusted?

what spring are you using normally? if you can push back on the bolt and it stops it sounds to me like either the sear itself may be worn a bit allowing the bolt to unseat just a bit, or the spring you are using isnt putting enough tension on the bolt to hold it in place. out of those i would look more twords the spring rather than the sear but look at both.

another thought look at your shims any bent ones may cause an issue as well

That or maybe the problem is having the smallest carrier because then the bolt stem can't really enter it well, you could try moving up a carrier or two, or your sear is worn but that would be strange if it was.

im using just the regular size spring. i tryed switching to the red spring but then the gun doesnt shoot at all. should i cut the red spring down a spiral or two, because i am leaning towards it having to be the spring not having enough tension.

dont cut the red one cut the grey one, if it doesnt fire with the red one bump the velocity up until it does if its venting out the back switch to the grey one and cut one coil off of it. the red spring will give you the tension desired to hold the bolt back and it will also cut down on the bolts ability to chop. try that first and see what ya get.

well i changed the o-rings on the carrier and it seemed to help and the gun is firing good now, i still get a little leak every so often and messing with the trigger usually gets it to stop, which makes me wonder if its the sear. if its not that then i need to get some new springs because thats all i can think of that could be the problem.

Do you have the same carrier? you may have to change that.

yeah it could be the carrier as well, what spring are you using now? still the gold or did you move up to one of the other ones?

If the leaking stops when you push the front of the bolt or if you lightly hold the trigger then your problem is too many shims. If there are no shims installed, then your sear is worn.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

its not the shims because it still leaked when i had none in. and for the sear, the back where it hits the on/off is a little rounded but the front is fine so i see no problems. i have the gold spring on it. i also tryed the red one but it didnt work well.
