Not enough pressure going thru new mag?

I recently bought a new custom automag rt ule off the agd site, and im sure most of you know that they are ready to shoot right out of the box, you just need the air system. well i screwed in my tank (68ci 4500psi) and the gun would not shoot. their was only enough pressure going in to slowly push the trigger back to position after i pulled it, but no bolt action. i turned the velocity all the way up, barely any change. I have no clue what the problem is, anyone know?

also.. it might be the tank being only 450psi output, and i know it needs around 800psi output. i have been having troubles with actionvillage where i purchased the tank, but they assure me that it is the high output tank. I do not fully know i will have to find somewhere i can test it myself. so assuming that it is a high output tank, any thoughts?

I ordered a Pure Energy brand 68ci 4500psi tank. However the first time I recieved it the tank I was sent was nothing like that in the picture, or with the recognizable baby blue neck and bio hazard symbol on the neck that of Pure Energy. What they sent me looks like their AVI brand, same size. You can see both on actionvillage. I called in and sent it back and oredered a new one. however when i reccieved the second tank, it was the same wrong one. I called back and didnt bother to try to send back, i was just going to deal with it, i just made them give back the 30 dollar difference I was ripped off.

My assumption is that the tank I have is the low output tank (450psi), not the high output (850psi). however the guy at actionvillage supposedly tested the tank out they sent me and assured me it is a high output tank.

no dont try and fix it if it aint broke. First VERIFY you have at LEAST 700 going in.

A pic of the tank reg would help a bit... if it's a CrossFire and it's BLUE it's LP if it's RED it's supposed to be HP. Sounds like you don't have an HP tank. Even if they say it's HP they may think that HP is 650 as it seems to be the common thing sometimes. I know the MYTH regs were that way.

If you have a gauge at all, put it on the ASA where you screw the tank in as you should have a gauge port on the opposite side of where you macroline goes. Take out the plug put in the gauge as long as it's 1K at least don't use a 200PSI one. But screw it in and see what the tanks output is.

If it's not 800 or so I'd really work on getting it sent back/exchanged. Mags like air at HP.

I will get a pic up later tonight I am unable to now. I ordered a pure energy brand, which usualy has the baby blue neck on it but what they sent me was looks like their AVI brand... The guy gave me some answer that pure energy was bought out and that they now feature just an all black bottle neck. If u go to actionvillage under their air systems and under the AVI brand, u can see the tank they sent me, the 68ci 4500 psi. There are two of them, one high output one low. When I called the guy said he went back and tried out one of the ones they supposedly sent me, and he said it was putting out about 800psi... The tank has no brand name at all on it. I'm not to happy with them because the only real logical answer I could think of was the tank, since the gun had been tested before shipped, and AGD is reliable.

Where are you located? Is there someone in your area that has a HP bottle that you can test with?

I'd guess they shipped you not only a tank you didn't order, but one that puts out the wrong pressure as well.
