RT no shoot, possibly lvl 10

I have an X-Valve that is stubborn about RT.
With a 1K NitroDuck tank it still wont bounce, while my retro valve RT's like a madman.
Per advice of a friend, I used an emag pin (the short one) and it now RT's. After a few games though, it started acting weird.

It'll bounce a quick stream, then seize, vent air out the front, or will take a second or two to reset the trigger. I replaced the top on/off o-ring and reg seat o-ring but to no effect. I thought it might be low on oil, but when I opened it up, everything was still pretty slick. The sear is also in great shape. Being in the middle of a game, I popped in the original X-Valve on/off pin and played on with no problems, just no RT.

Any suggestions on what is making it RT stubborn, seize after an RT stream with the Emag pin, or anything else?

Also, it chopped when rapid firing. The hopper is fast enough (Empire Reloader B) but obviously the lvl 10 isn't set right. Could the seizing/ venting/ delay in trigger reset, just be the lvl 10 under rapid fire?

    Thanks.

Yes. It sounds like you are using too strong a bolt spring and possibly too tight a carrier.

Use the largest carrier that doesn't leak.
    Use oil.
Use the spring that allows the marker to begin to fire 20 FPS lower than your target velocity (this is important).
If the bolt fails to reset after a jam, add a shim (yours is just hanging for a second, so don't add shims yet).

You know, I could have looked at this over the weekend WHEN WE WERE PLAYING TOGETHER. I agree with Evan; I don't think the problem is in the on/off. Try his suggestions, but change out that pin or you may face damage to your stuff.

Yea, I probably could have given it to you, but you were out playing and having fun.
The first time I worked on it, I had just thought it was the o-ring since I hadn't replaced them in a while. So I didn't feel the need to ask for help.
The second time, when I knew it wasn't to o-rings, you were off, I was PO'd, and everyone was rushing me, so I just switched out pins and ran back to the game.
By the time I saw you again in the ready station, beers had been opened, and we were busy BS'ing and swapping stories to the point I just didn't think of it.

Trust me, if it isn't fixed by D-Day, I'll call on you to help me exorcise the demon out of my unhappy valve.
