    Automag reg help!

OK! So Ninjeff just got a minimag valve and once we aired it up it would not reset the on/off pin. We tried everything we could think of to no avail. Finally I took the reg off one of my unused AIR classic valves and put it on his valve and it worked fine.

Now I don't quite get why its not resetting the sear. I was thinking that maybe the spring pack in the reg is worn out and doesn't put enough pressure on the valve pin to let enough air though. Another thought I had was that the Adjuster nut on the reg (its not a stock AGD one. It is a thumb adjuster with set screws in it) might be the problem as well, but all in all I'm stumped.

    Any help would be fantastic.

Someone here did have some sort of spacer in their aftermarket adjuster because it was too deep. Use a toothpick if you have to, but compare to your good adjuster (or move that piece only).

The piston could be stuck, but I would go for the adjuster first.

A dead trigger is usually bolt stick. I don't know why a reg swap would stop it, but with your old reg, push on the bolt with a squeegie and see if it snaps back into place. If so, you need a longer spacer.
