    Regulator Valve Pin Assembly

I have a leak out the back of my velocity adjuster (can only get to 250fps before the leak gets worse). From what I can gather from my research on here, it seems my regulator piston pack has gone bad.

However I was wondering. How does one know when they need to replace the regularor valve pin assembly?

    Thanks

I would first try to clean everything out, inspect the o-ringd and re lube everything before replacing parts...

      What valve, classic or RT?
What bolt, Level 7 or Level 10?

The Level 10 bolt system uses a higher pressure than the level 7 bolts. Some classic valves have a reg piston that was set to vent at a pressure that is too low for Level 10. You can get a new one from AGD (http://store.airgundesignsusa.com/in...&categoryID=18).

The regulator valve pin only needs to be replaced if the face gets a nick or ding in it. The reg seat will need to be replaced as time goes on.

I have an Emag with the original valve. I Installed the level 10 acoupple years ago and it worked great. I hadnt used it in a year and when I went to play yesterday I developed this leak out the velocity adjuster nut. I couldnt get the velocity past 250 without it just screaming air out the back. I took the whole thing apart, cleaned it and same thing. I changed the Reg seat and reg piston orings and same thing.

I thought I may had screwed something up the last time I cleaned it because I did a 100%oring change on the darn thing... including the reg pin assembly orings. So I dont know if I screwed up the reg pin assembly or if my reg piston has gone bad.

        Thanks

Sounds like you need a new reg piston.
