    pneu mag leak

I just got my Airwalk v1 frame from the mail the other day. After airing it up and shooting a couple of dry shots, I was in love... until the thing stopped shooting. When I air it up, everything is good, but when I shoot I can hear an air leak from the frame, and have no idea where it is. I shoot a couple of times more, and it stops, sometimes it's always leaking, and other times it doesn't do anything.

    Any ideas??

Check to see if any of the airlines have any leaks. Have you turned up the LPR?!? Are you testing with the grip frame open so you can see what's happening? You really need to find where it's leaking from! Did the original owner have any issues?

I have a pneu'ed airwalk (v2) as well... I hope you enjoy it as there are very few of us.

Yes, I'm testing it with the frame open, but my air tank ran out yesterday and I couldn't continue my tests. >=[ I have no idea how to turn up the LPR. No, the original owner did not have any issues, or at least he sold it to me as a fully functional unit.

I know for sure the air isn't coming from the LPR. All hoses seem air tight... If I put it under water won't bubbles come from wherever its leaking?

Its possible that the MSV-2A is slightly "on" if the trigger and trigger rod are a bit too tight of a fit.

Check the pinhole on its side with your finger. It is the exhaust port to return the switch to the ready position. If air is being vented out of the hole you should shorted the trigger rod a bit with a file.

The other likely place is the port where the LPR is screwed into the ASA at the bottom. You might need new teflon tape on the threads.

Also. remember that the MSV "leaks" slightly when depressed. It's just venting. It should not leak whatsoever when it's just sitting idle, though.

I did the water test. You see on the picture, above the MSV-2A, where the pin hits the little bronze thing (I forgot the name ;(), there is where it bubbles.

The piston. That's the word. That is where it's leaking. Any one have any ideas of what can I do?

                  Thanks.
