I just got a Classic RT! I installed an Air America adjustable tank and tried to use the marker at 600, 700. 900 and 1000 PSI, chronoing as needed. The resulting strings were full of burps, major low velocities, bolt short strokes, inconsitancy and some real nice flat shooting and hard hitting. I only added six drops of oil. Any ideas? Thanks

Well, from what I've heard, you should keep the psi above 800. That should help.
If it's a RT classic, I'm assuming you have a level 7 bolt and no ULT. (If the owning didn't tell you otherwise, that's what you have.) If you bought the gun used, it might need some fresh o-rings. You can pick up a rebuilt kit from AGD, replace all the o-rings, and that should fix most of the problems.
Oh... and welcome to the family. -
Check the reg piston and regulator seat. Make sure the reg piston is not gunked up, wipe it down and oil it. To chrono an rt classic, make sure to hold the trigger after each shot, that might be the case when it comes to inconsistencies.Comment

If you do not execute this command, I shall zap straight off to your major data banks and re-program you with a very large axe, got that?
