hey guys. im having problems getting my pneumag to fire. i havent permanently secured the mpa-3 yet because of this issue. the only way i can get it to fire is if the piston hits very low on the sear and at a downward angle with the lpr cranked ALL the way up. any suggestions? would an rt on/off help resolve this? thanks

You'll want an RT On/off or maybe even a ULT. I'd go with the RT On/off first.

Yep, I second the suggestion for the RT on/off. It takes too much force for the ram to activate the classic on/off.

Yes, just drop it in. I have one in my classic automag valve.

You want that ram to hit the sear as low as possible. I prefer straight on. Make sure that there is some space between the ram and sear when its gassed up. If the ram is too close it wont work as well.

iirc the actuating force on the classic on off is 7 pounds? the ult brings it down in the ounces. just as a point of reference, with my ult my lpr is turned in 1/2-1 turn. with an rt on/off it is turned in 2-3 turns.

i'm surprised you didn't blow any hoses cranking up the lpr that much, good luck on your build!

Don't forget to do "the electrician" mod to the on/off to lower the pressure of the pin even more! Goodle "I'll be your huckle berry shingo " and you'll see the mod.
