    Automag Leak

My ULT seems to be leaking for a little over a second after holding the trigger down. After the trigger is held for a few seconds there are no apparent leaks, and when the trigger is not held there are no leaks whatsoever.

O-rings all seem to be fine... short of changing them all is there anything I can do?

If It Leaks When You Hold The Trigger It Is The Upper White Teflon On The
    Trigger Valve

Sounds fine to me. The trigger is supposed to sound like its leaking when you hold it down. Thats how you simulate rapid firing when your chronoing to get your highest FPS rating.

        Is this true?

Also, it does not leak at all with an RT On/Off.

It's not a "lawn sprinkler" and it's not a consistent intermittent leak, it's a slight hiss that dissipates after the trigger is held for a short time.

Can someone verify that this is normal behavior for the ULT?

The ULT should sound the same as all the other on/offs. It should be on or off.

Cleaning and oiling may help. How is your rate of fire with the ULT?

Your top oring may be leaking by just enough that the leak stops when the dump chamber pressures up from the bolt spring holding the bolt closed. Sneaky leaks like that often stop when you put grease (like Dow 55) on the oring and then start up again when you wear (or shoot) the grease off.

That's more like the answer I was expecting.

I can sweet spot 19bps on my HP crossfire tank, the trigger is also just barely "walkable" but I think it's more walkable in a sense that I am using bounce to my advantage rather than truly walking the trigger like an electronic gun.

With a ULT that has to be pretty close to being tuned perfect. It may be so close to running away that it has a little leak.

The sad part is that a new top oring will be tighter and take up some of your bounce. If your field strip screw is just snug, try to make it a little tighter and see if that helps the leak. If your field strip screw is already tight, try taking a ULT shim out (0.005) and leaving the field strip screw just snug.

Or just just live with the hiss if it is all going to the dump chamber anyway.
