    bren mod

    hi all

i was hoping to pic some brains on a potential project that i would like to start.

i have a friend that is an AVID collector of firearms and memorablia. he was talking about the bren and its history and showed me a site with the diferent versions:
    bren

my friend has a good few parts (stock, mags, handle etc that he is willing to let me have)

as soon as i saw this i thought it was MADE for the A5 because of the mag placement and some of the shape. BUT the question is - for those that have done something like this - or think they could - and since i have both the A5 and a classic mag. which would be easier to convert/mod and why?

I think it'd be easier with an A5 because the body is more square shaped than the Automag body. But the Bren has more of a 90* trigger frame which is much more easily found for an Automag than for a Tippmann. A Tac-One with 90* frame would be ideal I think.

perhaps i should be a little more specific here as well - i cant afford ANYTHING atm, so another gun - although a good idea Wanta B - is out of the question. once i have the other parts from my friend, i will have a better idea as well.

I know a guy who stuffed an Ion into one. Yeah yeah yeah I know, an ION, but its still pretty cool.

define "STUFF" - would be awsome if you could get pics.

did he take out the inside of the bren and "shroud" the ION?
