Stripped feedneck threads

There was an accident involving me, my gun and the ground.
right now I've got a temporary fix to keep the feedneck in, but I know that the threads for the feedneck on the body of my mag are stripped and I'm wondering if there is an alternative to buying another body.

Depending on how badly they are marr'd up... you might be able to retap them with a threading that's bigger... like impulse threading maybe.

If not then the only solution would be to probably drill 2 holes on top and mount a spyder style feeneck to it.

couldn't you tap a set screw in the side of it to hold it in?
