    RT efficiency???

Hey guys! I'm looking into getting a Automag RT with a Spydermag upgrade and a X-Valve with lvl10. I was wondering how efficient it would be... So I turn to you guys! How many shots will I get with the spydermag off a 68ci/4500psi???

    thx

More than the amount of paint you'll be carrying.

If I tell you that I will be carrying 1000 rounds (with my vest at a big game)

If you are getting a full 4500 PSI fill, I'm not sure. But if you're only getting a 3k fill a 68ci will give you around 680 shots.

well... last scenario game i went to (big big game) i got a solid 8 pods, 2 hoppers, and a bunch of dry firing off before empty with my 92/45 when filled to about 4000.

so lets do some math while including the fact that only 4000 was used and not a full 4500 fill each time

          8 pods x 130 per pod (i have transpods) = 1040
          2 vlojrs of paint = 360
(disregard the dry firing because i cannot give it a set value)

total shots on a 92/45 with a well tuned xvalve and largest carrier without leak = 1400

          1400/92 = 15.2174 shots per CI with a 4000 fill or about 19.02175 on a full 4500 fill

soooo on the following tanks you would get approximately...

          48/3000 = (19.0218x.666)x48 = 608.00
          45/4500 = (19.0218x1)x45 = 855.98
          68/3000 = (19.0218x.666)x68 = 861.00
          68/4500 = (19.0218x1)x68 = 1293.48

mind you this is only what I got with MY tank setup and MY marker... each one will be slightly different. However... you should see pretty similar results.

good luck and have fun with the 68/45

You should be able to get at least 1200 shots or more off a 68-4500 if you have your gun properly setup. Don't shoot at 295 fps. Shoot at 280 fps. It will save you air and you won't notice the difference in distance anyway, and you will be more accurate. Use the proper size barrel id for the paint you are shooting. Use barrel with small or minimal porting.

I get just over 1400 shots off a full 68-4500 using my emag with a level 10 using the middle spring.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

im guessing that you all are using preset regs(850 psi output) on your tanks.

As long as their regs put out enough pressure to operate their markers then the efficiency should be similar no matter what the tank output is because the valve regulates the pressure down to be the same no matter what your tank reg is putting out.

.... I think. Feel free to correct me

Tank pressure has no effect on efficiency, just recharge rate.
