    Pump mag leaks gas

So I just got my pump mag assembled together and then just when I thought I had finally got it, things got ugly. I was using a 90 gram tank and the thing just leaked gas, the trigger did not even pressurize. Now I have two theories as to why this is happening, one could be that the on/off assembly does not have enough pressure, the other is that the spacer is not enough ( I have an 0.22 spacer installed in the powertube). Everything else worked perfectly when I had it in Semi though, so I'm stuck with my head in the sand on this one.

If it worked fine in semi then most likely it is your powertube spacer. Since the only thing different from semi to pump is the wave spring. Which puts the bolt further away from the valve.

Do you have the blue bumper properly placed inside the wave spring?

Blue bumper? Why would you still need it?

It keeps the wave spring properly in place.

Ok my powertube spacer is a 0.22 spacer, will an .025 do the trick?

I would think so. You may want to get a complete powertube spacer kit just in case.

I've tried all the spacers, none of them are working, the gun is still leaking. The trigger does not pressurize. I threw an RT on/off in there with the white teflon o-ring in with it, and it holds gas, but still trigger does not pressurize.

Does the trigger pressurize after you pump it?

Since the wave spring induces bolt stick, the sear can't raise up on the bolt end and drop on the on/off end.

Just because the trigger rod isn't pushing against the trigger doesn't mean that the on/off pin doesn't have pressure on it.

Also, an upside-down on/off pin or leaky/missing on/off top o-ring would cause the symptoms you describe.

Even when I pump it, nothing happens. The only on/off that it did not leak with was with the RT one, I tried using the stock one, which was missing no o-rings, and it did nothing. I am using the blue bolt bumpers as mentioned.

When you pump it, do you hear a click?

If not, push the bolt back with a squeegie. Then remove the grip panels and see if you can teeter-totter the sear.

is the gas leaking out the barrel? and the blue bumper is cut and is fitted in the middle of the wave spring (like the inside of a donut)?
