    X valve wont shoot

    Morning everyone,

My x-valve worked fine until this year when I pulled it out to use it. I have lubed it properly. But cannot get it to shoot. Nothing has been changed, so I am really confused. I hear the click inside when I gas it up. Just does not shoot when I pulled the trigger.

    Suggestions?

Make sure the safety is off. (Does the trigger move freely?)

    Turn up your velocity.

also make sure ur tank is full 1000 psi or higher - i've noticed with my x-valve that as soon as i get to about the last 500psi or so the gun doesn't want to fuction properly - mags love high pressure

safety is off, the trigger moves smoothly and my tank is full.

Is it a level 10 bolt?

Thinking that maybe the carrier O-ring swelled up and / or gummed up.

When you lubed up the valve, did you pull the bolt off and look at it?

Might try cleaning the bolt and power tube, and lube directly on the piston..

Does it feel like there is pressure behind the trigger when it is gassed up?

If so, turn up your velocity.

If that doesn't work, push the bolt back with a squeegy and then try firing.

I was having this same issue with my retro. Turning up the velocity did the trick but it leaks out the back. Think I might have a bad reg piston, I'll find that out when i get on the field today and tinker with it some more.
