I'm kidding really... though it does work sometimes you just have to wrap it all in a towel and open the air slow so that it don't become a projectile.
If you use needle nose be careful because you can scratch the pin. It's best to use some type of rubber or cushion between them. You could also try a piece of small hose like Autococker LPR lines.

Yes, but remember to air it up slowly, and wrap it with a towel, because they can come out like a small stainlees steel dart. If you air it up it should come out pretty quick, just be very careful. I almost had one catch me in the eye last week, while servicing my gun. I was adjusting the sear rod, and I couldn't get it to shoot. I didn't have a bleed off asa(which I do now), and I didn't want to put that much pressure on the aluminum threads on my CP tank, so i removed the thumb screw, pulled the valve out and turned it over. When i did the on/off pin came out like a missile. I had let some off the pressure off of it already, but i guess it wasn't enough. It was to close for comfort. I don't like to take chances with my eyes at all. So if you got that route maybe you should consider some safety glasses just in case.Comment

Cool I was just wondering how it worked out for you. I guess since you turned the air on slowly, versus I had already aired the gun up was the big difference. I know mine shot out really fast.Comment

Accidentally did that to my ULT on/off last month. It certainly comes out. Good times....Originally posted by DevilManJust put air to it!!!!
