Trying to make a pump out of a Minimag, but it turns out the used AGD kit I got is missing the black bumper, plus I'm not sure if the reg has the correct power tube spacer, tip, etc - how important is the black bumper and are the power tube parts just stock? (the instruction are from 1998, so none of the parts numebr are any good anymore)

thanks! I wondered what the difference between the bumpers was - it must have to hold the wave bumper in place so that the pump rod can engage it properlyComment

No it's mainly to space the bolt properly so the sear can hold it. The numbers for the parts should be the same if you're looking at the diagram, it just might be different from other diagrams.Originally posted by formerlostboythanks! As far as the power tube, none of those parts change, the only part that you change is the bumper. You can cut a blue bumper and it will be the same as a black one. Then you ADD the wave spring and the pump rod, and voila, you have a pump mag.
The only things you need special are a pump body that has more ct out for the sear and have the rail milled for the pump.Il n'y a point de sots si incommodes que ceux qui ont de l'esprit.Comment

Anytime, if you need to get hold of a guy that can mill your rail for you check out luke at www.lukescustoms.com, i've found that it's best to view it in internet explorer so all the links work. Well i think he does it, it's not on his site, but if you shoot him an email he can let you know.Il n'y a point de sots si incommodes que ceux qui ont de l'esprit.Comment
