For those who own Armageddon and 3rd Gen Smartpart Regs

What do you guys use to de-gas your marker? It's frustrating to no end when I need to tweak the gun but can't cause there's no way to release the pressure. One thing I've been doing is loosening a air fitting but that's gotten old and tearing up my fittings. What are you guys using.

I was looking at a purge valve but the only ones i can find go to your typical air tool compressor tank but they blow at around 200psi. Would like something that would hold out to 2-3k.

I use an Armageddon. I just turn out the adjustment screw till it feels loose and fire till it dies. Turning it on is simple as setting the pressure back up to 850 PSI (or higher if I want bounce). Not having an on/off kinda sucks but it's not that much of a hassle.

      Palmer's inline 1/4 turn On/Off.

      Or Proconnect.

      I use both.

Ya I do the same before i come off the field but there's still a good 400psi in the line you can't shoot out.

The proconnect and palmer will work but there's no way to connect a macro fitting to the male end unless you buy a female to female addapter which is just going to make it that much longer. I was looking for something small I could screw in the other hole on my ASA, that would be perfect..

Hell, I could just install a tickler to bleed the air off

You know what, I never tried to just unscrew the to halfs

        I'll get back with you.

        Edit:

I think it will work but with the way i have my gun setup the fill nipple is hitting the drop so that's not an option for me.

Use this one, no adapters needed.

I have nothing good to put here...........

I might just have to talk to the palmer guys and see if they can't setup something like this but in the 2000psi range.
