    Halo Rip Drive Question

I've got a halo that doesn't have a rip drive hole in the inner blue housing. Can I just drill a hole in install the rip drive per the instructions or is my Halo setup differently and won't accept the rip drive?

If you buy a rip drive kit, it should come with a longer pin that extends out the bottom of the Halo. No drilling should be required, but you do need to completely dismantle the loader.

The kits not the problem. The inner shell doesn't have a hole for the rip drive to go into.

the "inner shell"? As in the catch cup (where the paddle wheel and gears are located)?

Yes. The blue shell inside. At least mine is blue.
