Drilling a barrel to accept freak inserts

Does any one have any info on this?
Can you just buy the right drill bit and do it yourself? What size?
Is there an o-ring that needs to be installed?
    Does anyone offer this service?

Has anyone here had this done by ^^ the guy pootang mentioned? I would like to get an Ultralite phreaked out, but I wonder how tightly the inserts would be in the barrel. I would not want the moving around in there.

the one thing you don't want to do is try to "drill" it out , these fits are measured in thousands of an inch not 16ths

Probably not. The insert/sized back systems work with an oversize front that the paintball shouldn't have contact with. Normal barrels are straight-bore all the way through, with notable exceptions (palmer). You'd have to machine the back out for a Freak insert, AND drill the whole length through.

It's not an operation that can be done by hand on a drill press with a standard bit set. You'll need some good tooling and a decent lathe.
