    On/off fits loose into X-valve?

I just recieved a stock RT on/off valve to replace my ULT on/off and when I put it in it does not click in it just slides in and out freely. when I air up the marker I have a leak from the on/off area unless I hold the trigger. The UlT on/off works fine.
