    Tac One Fittings ??

Who here uses braided steel lines on their tac one? I want to set one up with a horizontal quick disconnect immediately following the 90 that comes out of the valve. The problem I have it that a standard 1/8" 90 degree fitting turns too tight, and causes the Q/D to hit the Tac One body.

Does anyone know where I can get a 90 degree fitting that has a longer sweep and will allow enough room for a Q/D along side the body? I have tried the 90's from actionvillage , but they turn too tight.

This picture shows where I want the Q/D to go.
    Thanks

    Thanks

Kapp swivel 90 degree elbow is what I use. I have red and purple only. Email me if you want one of those.

I love seing my old guns , I set all mine up with stainless just like the Karta E Mag in that pic , I use a stainless pipe 90* coming out of the valve & the same 90* on the ASA , there is plenty of clearance , I have used this set up on Tac bodies also , the fitting is called a street 90*
BTW where did you find the Pic ??

Tunaman, thanks for the info. I am going to have to hold out for a black one though. I found some on www.compulsivepaintball.com that I will probably get. Just to clarify though, Do these allow you to place a Q/D next to a tac one body without touching/scratching it?

Maniacmechanic. What are the chances you saw your own gun today, or do you have that many! It is a great looking gun. I love the color, and the karta body! I found it through a google search. I can't remember what site it was found on though. Do you know where I can get one of the st. 90's you are using? Like I said earlier, the ones I have gotten from Avtionvillage were too close of a bend.

        Thanks again guys.

I threw some pics up as a reference. Tick gave me his 90 for my Tac One. I tried standard 90s with the Q/D and they were too close to the body, resulting in some scratching and the inability to full seat the hose. Tim had an unusual (older) 90 that was larger, I installed his 90 into my Tac One, and the Q/D hooked up nicely. One of our friends just purchased a Tac One as well, and he is trying to set his up with a Q/D also. Unfortunately, we don't have any more old 90s lying around. Here is mine:

As you can see in this picture, the standard 90 is almost at the "height" it needs to be, WITHOUT being screwed in. That presents a problem of course.

Is the 90 you are referring to similar in size to the older 90 currently on my Tac One?

Yeah it's a pretty nice setup. I enjoy not having to mess with macroline anymore.

                Any other ideas fellas?
