sniper shot drop off

I went and played on Sat and ran into a little issue with the sniper.

Set up:

CCM'ed karni
autotrigger
detonator reg
rat valve
70/4500 wgp peanut tank

So when autotriggering I can feel my velocity drop off. At first it was noticeable but not horrible. The ball would still make it to the target.

Later in the day I was down to a 2 second recharge rate. Literally shoot a ball wait wait wait wait shoot another ball.

If I tried to shoot within a few seconds the next ball came out at half speed.

So where do I start?

Could it be the valve? It was just installed that morning.

The reg? It is a detonator reg after all.

My tank? I'm just throwing out ideas.

Well, I'd check the regualtor to make shure it's not full of crap. Also, if you don't tighten the set screw on the outside of the reg you can move it. (Mabe you twisted it going for a dive or somthing, and there was enough gas in the dump chamber for one shot.) If thats not working, check anywhere where gas goes for gunk. You'd be suprised how stuff gets where it can. (Like t-tape in the valve)
