Ok, so having issues teching my RT pro with x valve and finally went and tore it completely down after swapping out parts all day... I unbolt the sear and it has literally split! Along the top of the front section of the sear is a thin darker area that appears to be a different type of metal. It has literally seperated from the rest of the sear!. I am at a bit of a loss for words. Is this common? Is there something that I could have done to make this happen?

Major inclusion in the metal... that's crazy. -
Pics or shens!
In all seriousness, I'm having a hard time picturing exactly what you mean so a picture would be helpful.Comment

As usual, I can't find either of the cameras that are supposed to be around here. Essentially look at the sear from the side. There is a horizontal split going from the sear catch forward to the front of the sear. On the sear I have there appears to be a 1/8th horizontal strip of metal that is fused to the sear and it has essentailly come loose.
I'll try to find one of the freaking cameras and get a pic.
My main fear is that I did something wrong. I did some work on the back of the rail and hoping I didnt throw the tolerances out of whack that would have cause this.Comment
