Will this trigger frame fit my early micromag?

    Hello Guys,

I recently found this trigger frame which I think is an amazing deal and I wanted to make sure it would fit my micromag before I buy it.

it'll fit, but it has no wings, so you need something else to keep your sear pin in.
I'd suggest heating the pin up and flattening an end to that it acts similarly to trigger pins

Depends on what version of the micromag you have.

If you currently have a winged frame AND your sear is held in by a normal AM/MM pin (IE not threaded) then the answer is: no.

If you've got a newer Micromag that has a threaded sear pin (like the RT rail pins) then you're fine.

Is the sear pin the one that the trigger presses back against?

I will take a pic of my frame with the 45 grip removed so you guys can let me know what I have and I can go from there.

          No, that your Trigger Rod.

Your sear rod is what holds the sear to the body. The sear also pivots around it.

To my knowledge, Intelliframes fit all AGD-based markers. The Ultra Light frame is machined from an Intelliframe, so it would fit.

It will fit, but it will not hold in your sear pin and it will not line up with the body milling (it extends beyond the angled "sides" of the body) and look pretty weird. Other than that, it will be functional, at least, if you can manage to keep the sear pin in there.

The only PTP markers that accept the Intelliframe funtionally with no modifications are the Gen3 Micromag (powerfeed, cocker thread, 'wing' over valve) and the Gen4 (centerfeed, cocker threaded, 'wing' over valve).

Hey FrizzleFry, is there an easy way to know what "gen" a Micromag is?

gen1: barrel is part of body
gen1.5: separate barrel, no wing over valve, screwed on detent
gen2: detent milled into body, no wing
gen3: wing over valve, separate barrel, milled detent
                      gen4: vert feed
                      or something like that

gen 1-3 need wings to ensure the pin stays in, the gen3 the pin is designed differently and will stay in, but it's not threaded so it can still slip out.
gen 4 uses the RT style pin, so is threaded

If your micromag is like this, then the standard frame should fit. This one is a powerfeed body with a threaded sear pin. The bottom of the body is wide enough so that the AGD frames do not stick out past the side of the body.

Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
