On some of the HES sensors polarity matters
put the magnet back in, if it doesnt fire, flip it around and see what happens

so you are saying that since the hes is sensitive on the direction of the actuuating magnet it can also be sensitive on the return magnet? makes sense. i try it.

      Thank you!

Since the top magnet didn't fall out you dont have to worry about it , it's easy to deal with anyway ; just flip the one in the rail over till it attracts the trigger
The easy way to check the HES magnet is to stick your magnet on the tip of a small screwdriver , move your trigger as far forward as it will go ( upper magnet should allready be doing this ) , power your E Mag up , stick the magnet side of the screwdriver in between the trigger & the HES , if your scroll message goes out ( AGD 1.37 or whatever it is ) your good , if it doesn't turn it ( the magnet ) around

If its the top magnet (return magnet) it does matter what the polarity is if you don't change the magnets inside the frame. You'll quickly know, because it will push the trigger back rather than pull it forward. You can check the polarity before you install the magnet. Put it against the frame where it would go on the trigger. It will only attract in one direction. That is the same way you mount it on the trigger. If you do happen to glue it in backwards. Don't fret. You can flip the magnets in the frame.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

If the trigger wasn't fully forward due to the trigger not being held there by the top magnet, then the HES was probably activated when you turned on the gun. It won't boot up with the HES trigger magnet too close to the HES sensor.

If you put the HES magnet in backwards, most of the time the gun won't even fire. I guess it must depend on the trigger setup and the HES sensitivity.

Glad to hear you got it going.
