XMag help, no power

    XMag help, no power

    before i took apart my X, everything worked. sent it in for ano, now put back together and no power. Is my ACE board bad where the power switch is? th ebatt is def juiced, both plugs are plugged in, just no power.

    i kept all boards and elec with me when i shpped for ano.

    just trying to see if i missed something or made a mistake in reassembly

    scrape the anno off in the neg post hole and run a tap through the board mounting hole

      and pardon my ignorance, as you ee by the time i posted the Q and the time now, im beat and tired.

      like a hole tap?

        If the aluminum top surface is annoed where the stud is in the front of the frame where the battery lives you need to rub it off before you put in that stud. The board screw also needs to make contact to raw aluminum.

            What's the tap size for those board mounting hole? 4-40 tap? I'll be sending out a set of lowers here in a few and would like to know.

              i actually just sand the anno layer off of the top and the screw holds the board down on the connection instead of board-> screw -> frame, its board->frame

                scrap the anno off where the ACE board is mounted and the Main board then it will be working just fine

                  Thanks all, got it working. only 1 more issue and my Xmag is back in business.



                  i have a leak out if one of the small holes on the power tube half of the valve, but i havent oiled it up yet, so im sure that should fix it

                  thnak again for helpin me get it workin again, appreiciate everyones input, again, this is why i like AO, no punks like other nation-al websites that rip on you when you ask for help
