Hooking a cyclone to an automag

after seeing the rip off x7 phenom, I got to thinking:

Anyone think they could get a cyclone to work on an automag? I'd be very interested in setting this up as I love the cyclone but I love my automag more.

I'm not an airsmith, but I imagine that with the collective minds on this forum it is probably easier than I think it is.

Mounting can be done as has been seen with a couple of people mounting rip clips on warp right bodies. The tricky part is finding air to supply it with the proper timing so it doesn't feed the ball when the bolt is still forward. Maybe it would be possible to run the cyclone off of trigger activated pneumatics like a pneumag/cocker 3 way setup of some sort.

Thats what I've been thinking. Getting a cocker 3-way. Unfortunately I'm not an airsmith, and somewhat new to this kind of tinkering I'm just wondering if anyone who is more knowledgeable in the area would know the specifics on how to do this?

Someone around here put a rip clip on their E-Mag.

I know about the ripclip but the battery pack on it drops too low and covers some of the trigger, fine for lefty's sucks for rightys. I am more interested in actually having it be gas operated.

Carnage Reins: Who is this guy? I am very very interested in doing this.

Looks like a BT Rip Clip hooked to an Emag.

my only concern is how low the rip clip gos onto the trigger guard. Also, how do you get a mount for it?

It would still be really cool if you could hook up an actual cyclone to it though

One thing to conceder is that no mag I know of has a blow by air port like Tippmann's guns do. That means you would probably need a lpr and a pnumag like setup. On a pnumag you could probably just put a y on the hose comming out of the valve and run it to the cyclone, that way everything would be all synced up. :)

This got me to thinking its kinda surprising to me that know has come up with a wind up motor system for a hopper (other than the Qloader that is) .

my question is this: the Tippmann phenom uses a blow-forward similar to an automag valve, so I would think that there would be now blowback gas on that either, yet it still harnesses a cyclone.

It sounds like the pnuemag idea might be my best bet after all
