Bolting on an X-valve to a Minimag....what all is needed?

Say I had a stock valved minimag with an Intelliframe......can I just drop in an RT valve or an X valve and shoot?

Do I need to switch to a different sear or anything?

no modifications needed. Just drop in the new valve and rock n roll

      Fantastic.

So when I hear about "sweet-spotting" the trigger.....to tune for that (so to speak) is it all a matter of adjusting the pressure on the tank? I want to build a gun that can shoot a single shot as easily as it can RT.

The more pressure you have, the easier it is to sweetspot and hold.

The reg also needs to have a high flow rate to keep the RT going. If the reg puts out 1000 psi but doesn't respond fast or you have a supply restriction, you might get two or three shots before the RT "quits". A good bottle reg will RT your hopper dry easily.
