Anyone seen an on/off like this?

Note the groove on the top going around the pin hole. I've asked a few people already and they haven't seen one like this before. Or is this common and I've never noticed it before?

I have one like that as well, came with an RT pro valve i got used.
Came with a very long on/off pin and made the valve seem to starve. When i switched the on/off, the valve was running as it should.

Maybe it was a method of reducing reactivity?

I'm wondering if this has been my problem with my old RT Pro (the half SS kind). I'll have to wait to try out another on/off and see.
