Need some help with an EMag.

I bought an EMag recently. It would not fire in E mode, but would fire in Mech mode. I can get the sear to trip when I remove the valve and reset the sear. So what I need help with is figuring out what adjustment it needs to work right. The original body has been replaced with an ULE body, if that makes any difference.

Also, the guy I bought it from had not used it for several years. He said that prior to putting it into strorage he had it tuned by "someone" on the AO and it was working great.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

If it's firing mechanically, that's a good start.

If the noid isn't pulling the plunger hard enough to trip the on/off, is your battery fully charged? Bad cases might be that the battery or noid might need to be replaced. Or perhaps the on/off is just stiff. If the guy had it sitting around, it might just need a good cleaning and lots of lube.

Check the battery. If it has been sitting around for a couple of years with a dead battery pack, one of the cells could have gone bad.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
