    Internal air lines

Anyone ever tried doing this with their mags? I was looking at my check-it unimount and it seems with some drilling and rotating I would be able to run the macroline straight up into the trigger frame and directly to the valve through a hole in the rail. This would disguise any air lines and have your friends wondering how the heck the gun is even operating. If this has been tried or thought up before then oh well but I thought it was a good idea.

many have though of it, but no one has ever done it to my knowledge. The valve sits too far back to get the air in the regulator. If you move your frame it is more than likely possible, but then you have to move your sear.

Yea moving the frame and sear is much more complicated then I was thinking. You could, however, make the intellifeed hole a little bigger and run the line out through there and into the normal fitting on the valve. 99% of it would be internal that way.

i have the idea to do it just not the funds if you want to take the idea your more than welcome to

take a sleeper modded cp asa plug both sides

mill out the intileframe for a macro fitting (or hard line)

using an RT rail and valve dill into one of the lower air lines on the bottom side of the rail at an angle

thread and tap this for a small fitting then size it up to what ever size line your running

Yes yes, I'll try to have a go at this today maybe tomorrow. You think a dremel would be able to mill through the rail and frame?

I couldn't find a way to go through the rail without messing with the sear path so I sent the macro out through the top of the grip on one side.

              Here are some pics:

I feel like it looks a lot cleaner now, even if it does go through the grip. Pretty slick?

Thought about this a lot, I think the airline coming out of the grip is okay, but I want a total sleeper

I believe there was a euro gas thru mag frame, but I've never held one to examine it, so I assume the only way to make a mag totaly sleeper with all internal lines is a new frame, since our current frames done have the amount of room under the valve to mount an air fitting inder the valve, seated in the rail, rear of the frame, I know you can tap a new airfitting hole on the bottom of the reg, and possibly squueze some macro line in the frame, but we need a frame with more meat towards to rear so the line can rest in, and no disturb the sear

itd be nice but like you said..not enough meat back there. I feel like even if someone did make a frame to accommodate this it would look uglier than a line coming out of the grip. I am with you though I would love to make it a complete sleeper.
