Autoresponse Issue

Ok, so I'm putting the finishing touches on a Micromag but I'm having an issue.

The marker has an autoresponse frame with an added safety which lets it switch between single-fire and autoresponse. When I use a classic valve and a 900psi output tank, it works fine. When I use an X-valve and the same 900psi tank, it goes full-auto in "single fire" and the trigger locks up when I try to use the autoresponse feature. The X-valve in quesion works fine on other Micromags.

Any thoughts?

OK, I think I figured part of this out... I think it might be RTing REALLY fast because of the spring assembly when I try to fire a single shot.

Still doesn't explain locking up when I use the autoresponse feature.

I think it is due to the weight of the on/off pin. I have the same trouble with my AR frame. Works fine with a classic valve(sort of), but wont work with an RT or Xvalve(has ult). I think you will have to adjust the frame's spring tension to match the trigger pull of whatever valve and on/off combo you are using. Just a theory I have, I haven't had the time to mess with mine too much. Mine has problems when I shoot fast.

Neither of my AR frames like to be pushed back by X valves, RT's and the such.

Old thread, I've got it working as a finely tuned mechanical full auto now

It'll shoot about 14 out of 15 shots in full auto (once in a while one is "chosen" not to fire by the magic elves) but it doesn't chop or break in the barrel. I'm using a Ninja 68/45@950psi and a stock Pinokio230, and it's a perfect sleeper. It's finely tuned to my setup though; it won't work with my 72/3k@650psi tank; maybe 1 of 3 attempted shots will fire.
