What kind of Vert ASA do I need?

Everyone be quiet about my project!
But... I need to know how I'm going to pull this off... I'd PREFER to have a vertical bike grip. Will it even fit? If so, what kind of vert ASA do I need? I assume an AM/MM will not work. If that is the case, what are my options?

you need one of the foregrip extenders... I'm pretty sure Luke made/makes em...

That or hack the front off of your frame which I don't recommend nor condone..

Oooops... You need an RT Vert ASA... same as the AM/MM style but no wings and has 2 screw holes instead of 1. Should be easy enough to obtain.

Is there a slot milled on the bottom of the rail for a vert Asa? I can't tell from the pics.

The only way your getting a vert Asa on there is with an extender as DM already said. You may be able to get a 15* Asa on there with no extender.

what you need is a am/mm vertgrip with a spacer that goes in it so it doesnt look funny

YEah there isn't a slot only the single hole, but I'm pretty sure a regular vert RT ASA will bolt on there... BUT it's needing that other hole. Best bet me thinks would be take a stock AM/MM ASA and grind the top down flat. That or send the rail out to get a slot milled into it. If it's not already ULE milled on the inside then it would need that as well. Or you may be able to get away with drilling a hole on each side of the one hole that will allow you to put a stock RT ASA on it...

A few options, but all of them will require a bit of drilling/modding.

I believe what I'm going to do is scrap the karta body/rail and matching CP barrel. I think I'd prefer to throw the z-grip on a mag I can beat to hell and shoot every weekend and not be scared to scratch.

So I'm gonna toss it up on the chopping block. I have the ULE Emag lowers and accessories for the body as well.

What rails will the Z-grip fit on to allow a vert bikegrip in front? I really like the look of this one from the Marker section: http://automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=247494

Any of the RT length rails should be fine for that Z frame. If you run stock I believe the frame hits the foregrip mount... the part that bolts to the 6 holes in the side. I'm not sure if that all clears it proper. I have a full setup that would work for you, and I could check it with my Z frame before sending it but guess where it is and I'm not!!

Thanks. I tossed it into a sale thread, hopefully someone will come through with an offer. I played all day today with my buddy's lvl 7 classic and lemme tell you, I'm hooked on it! I watched another guy with a classic RT and I think that's the route I want to take for sure. I also have a single trigger benchmark frame coming soon... so I'm hoping I'll end up with a nice RT power feed that I can use with the Z or the Bench, depending on how I feel that day. Lvl 10? sure couldn't hurt. I also have an X-valve lying around, which may or may not be included with the karta sale thread. shrug. when you get back to your setup, let me know what you want for it
