    Old Pneumag Question

Whiich on and off is best, a R/T or a ULT? Is the R/T effect possible with a pneumag?

There isn't a direct link between the trigger and sear in a pneumag so the RT affect doesn't work anymore. The only return pressure on the trigger is from the air pressure and any springs/magnets you install.

RT effect is possible, just not practical because you don't select it, you have to tune for it (often) and then it runs full auto trigger constantly. RT type valves are preferred for pneu conversions because of their strong reset and quick recharge.

The RT on/off is easier. The ULT often needs tuning at first, like a level 10, in order to respond as fast as you would like on a pneu setup. Depending on your layout, you may not notice much difference on the trigger. On the other hand, ULT's need less LPR pressure, so you can keep the LPR turned up to RT on/off pressures and use it for "margin" for the response of the LPR and other pneu parts.
