I bought a used warp off from a person, and there are a few points of concern taht I have. This is my first warp, so I am new to this. How do I check if the warp is functional? It looks as though some one has done the 12v mod to it, as there are two 9v harnesses, though I guess I would have to take it apart to find out. I hooked up one harness to the only 9v I have, and nothing is moving. There is a white push button underneath the board housing, what does it do?

Unless they hard mounted the harness, it should come right out by the single 9v connector. Remove it if you can if not you'll need 2 9v to get it running.
The button primes the system (feeds the balls to the breach of the marker). -
18V will fry the board (that would be two 9-volts wired in series, or + to -, + to -).Originally posted by leloupUpon further review, it is set to sensor. They also just wired up the second harness, so it is running at 18v. Will that destroy the board? I may just take one harness out.
If it set up to run two 9-volts in parrallel (+ to +, - to -), it will give you longer battery life and a couple extra bps on the feedrate.

Have you tried making it more sensitive by turning the blue stem [forget the actual name of it] inside the board compartment? One direction makes it more sensitive, the other way less sensitive. Tap the casing with your fingertip as you adjust it one way or the other.Comment

if the batterys are hooked up & it won't spin with the White "primer" button you may have a problem , get a meter & start checking voltagesComment

Originally posted by leloupI wondered what that blue cap was for, thanks druid, I will try that. maniacmechanic, what do you recommend I check? Maybe the motor?
Check the wires on the battery connector themselves. On my warp I have had to resolder all 4 points now (each end of both wires).Comment

If you can't get it fixed, send it here and I'll check it out.Comment

When you do jget to looking at it...just don't "tear into" it...lol.
Take your time, separate shells and pieces SLOWLY. There are gears that need grease, small parts and wires...
Print out the Warp manual found here and use that implicitly: http://www.airgundesignsusa.com/manual.shtmlComment
