    Level 7 upgrades

Is it worth it to buy a ULE($47) and a Power Tube Spacer Kit ($12) to try and tune my level 7 /classic/hyperframe setup?

    Of course it works-its AGD

I suspect you mean ULT (Ultra Light Trigger) on-off. If you are using a Hyperframe, then you do need this for it to operate properly, so it is a needed upgrade. You don't need a spacer kit unless you are having a problem with bolt stick or leaking down the powertube while at rest. I would opt for a level 10 bolt though. It is the best upgrade for any mag.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

PM'ed Would bolt stick cause the bolt to bounce? It does occasionally leak down the barrel. Shorter spacer help to keep the bolt from bouncing?

No, bolt stick won't cause bounce. Bolt stick will cause coughing and would slow down the action.

A leaking on-off top can cause the mag to go full auto.

            Or a warn out sear.

**Note that a level 10 bolt replaces the spacer and you dont need a spacer kit

Yeah, but he mentioned the sear was fine in another thread.

That would be unlikely unless it broke or a previous owner purposefully bought a shorter pin. A ULT would fix that if it were the problem though.

Stupid question but have you tried installing a normal grip and seeing if it does it?

That's one way of pin pointing what the actual problem is. Your valve or frame.

Also make sure you dont have an after market bolt like a venturi bolt....another downgrade you could buy for your mag back when.

Yup, I'm sure that it isn't an AGD bolt

The hyperframe probably doesn't have the energy required to hold the sear. Check to see if the board has a large capacitor near the solenoid output. The mag really should have the ULT too, if you are going to run a hyperframe.
