    Plz Help Xvalve Leak!!!!

    Hi all,

I have a Tac one mag without ult,
ive been playing with it for about 2 years and recently i went to oil it up and air it up, and it started not cocking and leaking down the barrel.. i have all the x valve parts that came with the gun.

    Using this diagram... http://img131.imageshack.us/img131/5...xplodedff7.gif
what number should i look into replacing?

    Thanks
    Joe D

Did you oil it up and it leaked (or did you just find the leak as you were going to oil it?)

    Always oil it first

Anyway my first guess considering you said you have had it for so long and it doesnt cock that you need to replace the bolt spring #1

If that doesnt work, then check your on off assembly and make sure it is lubed and change discoulored orings #17-23

If that doesnt work you may need to replace level 10 oring #7 and/or change the size of the carrier #6

Not cocking...meaning the bolt catching the sear......

Sounds like the level 10 oring is worn. Replace oring and match with desired carrier to stop leak.

Switched the spring to the metal colored one in the pack, not the red one.

Bolt cocked, leaked stopped but lost reation to trigger....

Did you switch to the silver one or the golden one? Switch to the gold one ( http://store.airgundesignsusa.com/in...&categoryID=38 ). The silver one( http://store.airgundesignsusa.com/in...&categoryID=38 ) is too long and too strong. it is included for people who want to tinker and cut it down.

You may want to order yourself another red spring ( http://store.airgundesignsusa.com/in...&categoryID=38 ) instead of using the gold one. This is on the assumption that the valve was calibrated to use it rather than the standard gold coloured spring.
If you notice a huge speed spike in your shots with the gold one, then your gun needs a red one

If you dont have a gold spring you may as well order a whole parts kit with a red spring on top of that.

            http://store.airgundesignsusa.com/in...&categoryID=16 (standard spring included)

or if you dont have the extra level 10 bits that came originally with the valve get this:
http://store.airgundesignsusa.com/in...&categoryID=16 + standard bolt spring or red spring.

**The red springs are out of stock, so if you use the gold one and you get a FPS spike, you can tune it down easily with the extra x valve parts or parts kit.

alright, so i switched back to the old spring to reevaluate what was happening...

it airs up, trigger come forward, you hear the air come out then you hear a little fart, when u look down the feed neck the bolt is comming halfway down then back towards the xvalve, and it is repeating doing that....

Any ideas.... also how do you remove the on off cover?

Do you know how to use them? Its the chinese finger trap at its finest.

Push the end part of the connector in and hold, and the tube slips right out.

                    How is this hard?

This statement here tells me the spring you currently have in when leaking is bad. Replace it and it should be money

Do you have an adj reg?

                        No sadly, i dont.

So i put the red spring in, it cocked i was able to fire once, then i think i ran out of gas in the tank as the rest of the tank dumped down the barrel.... i was between 1 0 on the tank reg.

So if it doesnt leak with a stiffer spring its the spring thats the problem?

I know how to use macroline, i just have a hard time ever getting it to come out easy... i have to put it in, try holding it, and the lack of slack between the bike grip and the valve doesnt help much either

Not enough psi. Fill tank and try again. X valves will not reset below 600 psi.
