How often do u change valve o rings?

How often should i change my rt pro valve o rings. I have had the gun for about six months now and it seems like the oil change period in a car. Anyone know?

    Thanx

I leave mine in untill the gun starts leaking or the velocity is getting really screwy. Ive had the same orings in my 68mag for about 3 years and its still working fine , but i wouldnt reccomend that.
Sorry for the spelling. Im still working on it.

VERY rarely. Using KC trouble free keeps the o-rings clean and with as much friction protection as possible. Also the fact that they're cast urethane o-rings means they're made to last a long time. There's no point in replacing the o-rings unless they're really dirty or they're causing a leak. Replace the reg. seat when you're having inconsistant velocity. Reg. seats will deform over time, so they need to be replaced.

I use teflon motor overhaul oil. It works great and hasnt ate the fomie off.

Im glad im not the only one that uses orings till they just quit working.

            oring change

I only change the orings when they leak or just quit working. Although I'm having weird velocity problems, I tried replacing the regulator piston oring and reg seat (changed that like 3 times nwo!!!)

I'm wondering, could it be the superbolt? I haven't tried my old SS bolt for awhile.
