new mag owner, looking for some help

as of monday (hopefully) I will have my first mag in my hands (ULE body, x-valve, lvl-10, tac-1 rail, intelliframe). obviously I am a noob mag user so I have no idea how to or if it even needs to be tuned. I am looking for suggestions on a trusted member of this forum that does things like tuning for a reasonable cost and in a small time frame. right now from what I know the lvl 10 has no foamie, so I need to get one of those, but otherwise it came w/ no extra parts for the lvl 10 or ultsystem and I'm hesitant to get any until I have someone who can tell me what I need before getting anything. so to sum up I need:

-someone to check the marker out
-tell me if there is any issues and the parts needed to fix
    -install the parts

    thanks!

p.s. I will be making a seperate WTB but if anyone knows where I can find a steel hardline for btwn the valve and vertical asa (if one would even fit on my mag) let me know! :)

Ah, I believe Ive heard of you over at MCB before...

if you could pm me w/ some details like your addy and perhaps some cost estimates (more like if you charge by the hour etc since obviously you don't have the marker in your hands to see what it needs) Id really appreciate it.

          thanks

As far as tuning, you might want to pick up some shims for the lvl 10. The gun should be shooting fine when you get it! :)

Werd. He also stocks all the parts you'd ever need and several you don't "need" but will end up REALLY "wanting"

Its a Mag , you need to learn to tune & tech it ( nobody at the place you play will know how ) , they are the simplest gun there is , the biggest reason you need to learn to work on them is , this will not be the only one you own & as soon as you get it you will want to change something , then something & soon you will have enough spare parts to say hey i only need _ _ _ _ _ & i'll have another gun
                      Welcome to your new addiction

Well oil will fix 80% of problems. A Parts kit will fix 80% of the other problems, and Tunaman or Airgun will fix 99% of any of the problems left over

QFT. I know almost nothing about Mags myself (just getting into them now), but that is a universal truth about all paintball guns. There's no substitute for knowing your own gun, because they ALL experience problems on the field at one time or another.

I got into Cockers about 5 years ago and did my homework on them. They were supposedly the most unreliable and technical guns on the market. A little bit of research and common sense has proved that wrong - they have been the most magnificent and reliable guns I've owned since I started playing paintball. (haven't owned a Mag yet though ).

Anyway, that is my suggestion as well - learn to work on your own guns. Use the internet forums for backup.

"Common sense" is the key to that sentence. Most paintball guns are pretty easy to understand if someone takes the time to figure things out. Most people are so into having things handed to them right now, that they don't want to deal with the possibility of having to learn something for themselves. If you had no problems with cockers, then teching mags will be a breeze.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
