    E-mag sear

    How many Oz of force is required to pull the emag sear down to fire the gun?

    I think all of the lever arms on that sear are the same length...

    The on/off force should be about 4 lbs, or 64 oz. That's where the big battery and solenoid come in.

      and do you know the stroke or pull distance the solenoid has to pull the arm? don't have my Emag with me its in with the mechinist

          I think it is about 2 lbs. The front solenoid plunger arm of the sear is about twice as long as the shorter arm connected to the trigger rod. The pull distance escapes me though.
          Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

            I'm probably thinking about the total plunger rod length...

            The solenoid plunger rod length should be 3.005"
