Thanx Flyin!!!! I don't have any of my pb gear at all here.... Keep thinking of getting some and just shipping it back to Cali when I head that way, but it's not like I don't have enough of it there already.

Cato, if you can't get it fixed, Flyin says he'll fix it for ya... I'll help in anyway, I didn't know that it was mucked up... thought for sure everything looked fine and dandy in it. And I did take it apart all the way down to clean it and such.

I think the most issue you could have with it, would be to replace a couple of o rings.

The .235 spacer is not a WIDTH, but a LENGTH measurement. (I think) It is how hard the powertube tip presses against the powertube o ring that then would be sealing against the bolt center shaft. It's not the diameter, but the length.

I'm pretty sure that's the way it works. But again, if you can't get it fixed let us know and either mail it to Flyin or back to me and we'll work it out if that's the case. Alright? It is a mag, it is made from Stainless Steel... there's not a whole lot you can do to drastically tear these up.

Yeah, thanks Devilman & Flyin, I would like to get it working if I can. You never learn if you have someone else do it for you . I figure replacing the piston+ the orings I should be fine. We'll see when tuna's care package arrives

          Fixed

Well I replaced the Regulator Piston, switched down to the smallest powertube and most importantly replaced every single oring. Some of which were so brittle they were falling apart. Shooting great now. Just need to work on getting a levelX for it.

          Thanks for the help everyone

the heart of everything atomag is o rings, when in doubt, just replace them all, this is what gives the mag a 99% in the field repair record, just replace an o ring and your up...if the valve has been sitting un lubed for a period of time, the o rings can get brittle and break down.........so when doing an overhaul it is best to replace them all or you will be doing what you are doing right now, beating youe head agianst a wall cause you refuse to believe that a little o ring would be causing your troubles.......but it is, cause if the mag is leaking it is an o ring, or your pressure is too high and it is venting out the back of the valve like it is desighned to do ..........the mag requires little maintenance, but you must keep it lubed with a good puenmatic oil.............lack of lubrication is the major cause of o ring failure............just replace all of the o rings and heaven will be yours...........
