Everyone using adjustable regs.....I have a question

Do any of them purge after you turn them off? I hate how my max-flo holds a small amount of pressure after I turn it off.

I run an Armageddon reg, so I normally take the tank off the reg at the end of the day.

You should have a free port at the bottom of your reg. Install this and you'll be good

I also have a 90* fitting installed so it's not pointing stright down.

Centerflag Dynaflow uses the same purge system as the Hyperflow. GREAT regs.

Yeah I think you showed me that before. I'm just kinda tired of this max-flo (well, tired of chopping the damn on/off o-rings)

I bored out the hole in the on/off and polished it a little too much apparently because it chopped another one this week.

I can do that too if the tanks empty, I use the on/off quite a bit while teching guns.

Ahh, but with a 'geddon, you don't have to empty the tank.

                It's a 2 part reg.

I agree with your being annoyed at maxflo's. I like the look of them and how easy it is to adjust, but i always hated how you had to leave about 500 psi in the gun. I switched to 800-1000 psi threaded regs on all my tanks and am liking how that works out.

I don't think that reg was designed for the Automag. The 1200-1500 psi is way too much for the on/off Oring. Best way to keep the oring from cutting is doing the mod which you already have then lowering the pressure after your done playing by turning the front knob CC. Shoot out whatever is left in the reg. Then turn off the on/off knob.
