    pump mag question

hey guys I have almost got all my parts in to make a pumpmag but I was just looking at them and I have a quick question.

One of the rails I bought is not the standard rail with the angled sides, its flat like an emag rail on the bottom. With the pump kit that I am using with this will I have to mill off the slot and make it smooth to match or should is still work without having to mill?

So you have an rt style rail? (flat bottom)

is it rt length or am/mm length?

What kind of pump kit are using?

On the pump kits I have seen the mount is meant for a am/mm rail. These only have 1 hole to attach them to the rail. If you mill off the wings to match your rail then there would be nothing to keep the whole pump assembly from swiveling,

also if the rail is rt length the the pump cocking rod will not be long enough.
