    Questions about Warp Feed

Alright, so I'm interested in possibly purchasing a Warp Feed for my E-Tac. However, I have a few questions:

    1. How well does the Warp handle different sizes of paint?
    2. Obviously it is a forcefeed, how gentle is it on paint?
    3. Mounting the Hopper into the Warp. do I put a feedneck in the warp to clamp it on?
4.Mounting the warp onto my marker. How many options for mounting do I have? I hate how low it hangs below the hopper on most markers I've seen is there a custom mount that I can purchase to raise it up higher?
    5. The warp doesn't come with an on/off, why not? Can I purchase one?
    6. How consistent is the warpfeed in feeding? How often does it misfire?
    7. There is a guide to hooking your Warpfeed up to an intelliframe, to feed shot by shot; can you link it up to your Emag's board?
    8. This is just a cosmetic question, but why is the Warpfeed so bulky? Why didn't they make it smaller, more compact?

Any input from Warp users, or former warp users, would be helpful. I currently run a prophecy on my mag. I love this hopper, will mounting it to my warp reduce it's effectiveness?

The friction discs are very flexible and will accommodate all paint sizes.

It's extremely gentle. I've never had a ball break inside the warp.

The hopper fits directly into the warp.

The main idea for the warp was to reduce hopper hits by relocating it. The top of the hopper will sit just about level with the top of the marker when it's mounted. I haven't seen anyone change that.

Yes. If I'm not mistaken, Luke will do those mods. If you're handy with a soldering iron, you can do it yourself. I've seen Luke's work and I'll tell you it looks like it came that way from the factory when he's done.

If you have the intellifeed hooked up and the dwell set right, you'll never misfire. Depending on the marker, if you use the potentiometer, you may miss one every once in a while.

In a word, no. It is what it is.

If you're going to shoot >20 bps, then maybe it will reduce the effectiveness. That's when you get into the voltage increase mod. Cockerpunk did a video on that. Luke will do that as well. Right now, it seems the do-it-yourself link isn't working for me. You should be able to google 12v mod.

How well does the hopper fit into the warp? Does it tighten for a snug fit?

How simple is the warp to operate? Just turn on and play or does it reqiure a lot of tuning?

How easy is it to tune?

I've never had my revy fall off and I've been pretty rough with it. It doesn't tighten, but it's still pretty secure. I think the fact that the hopper is closer to your hand (the axis of rotation of the whole marker) it doesn't have as much force acting on it.

Once you have the dwell and sensitivity (if you're using the sensor) set right, you won't have to do anything to it but plug the batteries in. I haven't changed anything on mine for a couple years.

If you read and understand the manual, it's a breeze. Using the intellifeed makes it even easier since you don't have to mess with the sensor. You want to make sure the dwell is set to advance the stack about a ball and a half to two balls per shot and that's it. You're done. Go shoot people! lol

The prophecy like any halo is a very tight fit. You'll have to eithe loosen the bolts a little or sand the feedneck. I did the bolts cause I didn't want to deal with sanding it. Either method will work.
