Best Used HP Adj. Tank Regulator

I've always used Crossfires or newer Max-Flo's. I want a used reg that's adjustable to higher pressures (900-1200psi) for my Model 98's and 'Mags. I'd prefer 4500cu but 3000cu would suffice.

What used reg would you recommend and why (durability, consistency, ease of rebuilding/repairing, rebuild parts availability, etc.)? I'd especially welcome opinions on Air America Armeggedon and Raptor, CenterFlag DynaFlow and HyperFlow, MacDev Conquest and Gladiator, NitroDucks, older Max-Flo, etc.

    Thank you.

I've got both styles of Centerflags (Hyper & Dyna). I like the Hyper better because it has a dovetail to mount to rails. Both are nice because they have a purge in the on/off button. I'm not sure about all of them, but I know the Max-Flos don't have the purge and I think also the Geddons. I haven't had any trouble with them getting up to 1100+ psi and the recharge is VERY fast.

I have a geddon. It's a nice reg that recharges vary well, it has a dove tail built on it so it will mount easly. The only thing I don't like about it is there's no on/off for it. You have to use an allen wrench and take the out put pressure to 0 inorder to shut off the air. I have seen some with a knob instead of the allen screw but I think that's an aftermarket part.

For some reason when I said "geddon", I was actually thinking about the Apocalypse. My brother's got one. Those have an on/off, but no purge.

I have a second gen MaxFlo manifold reg that works fatastic. It recharges very fast, and at 1000psi my Retro Valve will rt like crazy with my single trigger Benchy (tho' that really is more specific to each individual valve). The only thing I don't like about it is theres no air purge/bleed but otherwise it's golden.

This sight has tons of info on MaxFlo maintenance and how they work:

Actually Dynaflows are the aluminum bodied reg with the dovetail, the hyperflow is the round stainless bodied one. I've had both as well, I just picked up a New dynaflow off of ebay to put on my mag since I sold my hyperflow a long time ago. I love the on/off design on these regs.

I can't recommend the Raptor because there isn't an on/off. The only way to turn it off is to back the reg all the way out or install an inline ball valve.

The conquest is a great reg too but I don't think it goes very high in the output range.
