Running an AA Armageddon

I have two armageddons. I need to rebuild all the orings in one, but I'm having a hard time finding a parts kit.

If I buy an apocalypse oring kit, will it have all the ones I need?

I got a bunch of aftermarket rebuild kits from e-bay. There's a Oring company on the bay that'll make you kits if they don't already have them there. You just need to send them a PM and they'll hook you up.

I saw a bulk pack on ebay, but they were all the bunta(whatever those black rubber ones were). Are they ok to use?

You might want to ck your automag parts kit. Majority of Air America regs use the same orings. Some of the AA regs internally have the same setup. The AA Apocalypse regulator valve pin and piston are the one in the same as the classic valve.

That kit will do you just fine. If you want, dial the number in the picture and they'll make you a kit for the Geddon. Their kits come in 4 packs. so you'll be able to rebuild it 4 times. I haven't had an issue with using the buta. Just make sure you use dow33 (shocker lube). Buta has a tendency to swell with oil.

Got the kit in, I've got a dilemma now. The orings that go around the thin shafe(of the regulator), there's 2. How do you install the orings onto it? I can't stretch them over the edges for the life of me.

Perhaps warming them up in hot water to make'em a little bit softer/flexible and a dental pick for good leverage?

O-ring Monkey can get you a rebuild kit in whichever grade you prefer. Cheap, too.

Let me know how that kit works out, Advanced. I bought a geddon on ebay for $20, and the orings are all yellowed. I actually broke out the calipers this afternoon to ckeck the sizes, but this would be much more convenient if it includes everything needed.

I know you can flip the seal, but I think I may need a few for posterity. Any suppliers other than iiSports?

I had no problem getting mine on. I use the same kits from that company.

I got them on, the problem is the edges on both ends are almost rectangular. I realized that the one end is simply exposed to the adjustment screw and has no bearing on seals. I gave it a bit of an angle grind and that allowed me to get them on no problem. Reg works perfectly now up to full output.
